    Jake Kaldenbaugh is an accomplished technology executive with experience driving growth and value through technology growth strategy development, business and corporate development, venture activities, and market research. He is experienced in developing and executing strategic growth programs including acquisitions, partnerships and new business development. His most recent position was with NEC Corporation of America where Jake was the U.S. market strategy and business development leader and was responsible for identifying new technology markets, developing business plans and planning effective GTM strategies to drive growth for the IT Platform Group. It was during his work there that he drove early strategic efforts focusing on virtualization and Cloud Computing. Previously at NEC, Jake led the corporate investment process and established the executive-level Investment Review Committee which was responsible for the review, approval and management of all corporate business investments.

    In previous positions, Jake was a consulting partner at VentureArchetypes LLC, a start-up venture consultancy where he helped emerging start-ups focus their business plans, understand their economic models and more effectively approach venture capital sources. At Borland Software Corp., a publicly-traded Application Lifecycle Management software provider, he led corporate development activities and successfully executed acquisitions and managed strategic partnerships. Jake’s own start-up experience includes founding an emerging technology sector research firm, Harvest Equity Research. At Harvest, Jake analyzed emerging business models, growth metrics and sector activity in the Digital Media and Enterprise Software public-equity markets.

    In Jake’s previous career, he was a technology M&A banker and corporate restructuring advisor for large and boutique investment banks.
